This room was originally Gabriela's room. When James and Belinda moved here in the early autumn of TS395 with their ten-year-old son Chad, Belinda was already expecting another child-- a daughter, whom they would name Gabriela. They converted this room into a nursery because of its proximity to the master bedroom and its central location in the home. Gabriela remained here through her infant and toddler years and into her early childhood, before she moved into the upstairs bedroom that once belonged to her brother. Shortly after Gabriela moved upstairs, James' half-brother, Dr. "Okin" Leonard, came to live with James and Gabriela. Having recently converted the room into a study/home office, James had only to move his office supplies to the remaining upstairs bedroom and bring in an old mattress and frame from the storage shed in the back yard to ready the room for the aging professor. |
