The Montgomery House is located in the quiet neighborhood of Maple Grove, named for the thicket of maple-like trees that envelopes the subdivision. Traffic through the streets of Maple Grove is generally limited to those either visiting or living in the neighborhood, and the trees do much to dampen the noise of the nearby city. Hence, relaxing on the front porch of your home in Maple Grove is not only easy to do, it is encouraged. As a youth, Gabriela was often found on the front porch on dreary, rainy afternoons, sitting in the porch swing, quietly listening to the falling rain. More recent pressures such as school and the increasing need for a social life have left far less room for such pastimes, but sometimes during the early weeks of mätena, Gabriela can still be found here. |
