Originally intended to be Gabriela's room once she outgrew her small downstairs bedroom, this room remained vacant for a number of years following James' divorce from his wife, Belinda. When Gabriela was old enough to move out of the nursery, she chose to inhabit the room that had once belonged to her elder brother, Chad. With the arrival of James' half-brother, Dr. "Okin" Leonard, in TS417, James was forced to move his home office equipment from the downstairs bedroom (formerly Gabriela's room) into this room; however, he kept the bed in the upstairs bedroom where it was, rather than attempt to tote it downstairs to Okin's room. While the room has fallen out of use of late, aside from Gabriela logging on to the Internet periodically to check her e-mail, James makes sure to keep the room in good condition in case someone should ever need a place to spend the night. |
