Kyme House – The Master Bedroom

Located in the far corner of the house, opposite the guest room/storage room, and blanketed from excess noise by the soft, absorbent carpet, this room was not only a place to slumber, but a place to relax and "get away from it all."  Often at the end of a stressful day, Carol would withdraw to this room and curl up in bed with a good book.

The room also served as a study and a home office for Robert, beginning when Carol's niece moved into the room across the hall.  Many late nights were spent at the desk, preparing presentations and progress reports for coworkers, but when the work was done, Robert had only to turn and walk ten steps to return to his waiting bed.
