Originally this room was used as a carport, complete with a functioning garage door and a windowed door on the inside that led into the kitchen. However, as Kevin began to outgrow his toys and his old bed, and as Robert and Carol continued to accumulate more things, the family found themselves running out of storage space. They began to use the corner room-- what would later become Jessie's room-- for storage, but circumstances beginning around the end of TS412 forced the family to clean out the room, bringing all the clutter into the garage. Contents of the garage include Robert's woodworking table, which he used to build a crib for his infant son (and hasn't used since), two broken television sets-- one which once belonged in the living room, and another that used to be in Kevin's room-- and an old grandfather clock that was bestowed upon Robert and Carol as a wedding gift from Carol's cousin Howard. |
