The living room features an elegant artificial-log fireplace and a widescreen high-resolution TV. While the television doesn't see much use, aside from the occasional weekend movie rental, the family does enjoy spending most of its time at home in this room, either discussing current events or simply reading in silence. The living room extends into the downstairs hallway, which connects the master bedroom (James' room), the other downstairs bedroom (Okin's room) and the downstairs bathroom and sink room. The windowed door near the fireplace leads to the back patio, and the other doors lead to the kitchen and the front room. |
